Doesn't every group have the right to self identify with a label that could be considered inappropriate in other contexts? That's not something that's exclusive to under represented groups Not trying to be difficult, I'm genuinely asking

I was struggling to phrase it correctly. I think a marginalized group has the right to use terms to self-identify that would be used offensively by others to describe them.
