Does the current npm inc CEO @bbogens, realize that their success and continued existence is due to the community? The silence from anyone on the npm board is deplorable. All goodwill and trust is being eroded.

we're just only hearing one side of the story, and because it isn't appropriate for an employer to go public about why they let someone go, we won't hear the other side.
