Does the current npm inc CEO @bbogens, realize that their success and continued existence is due to the community? The silence from anyone on the npm board is deplorable. All goodwill and trust is being eroded.

I really don't like the people running
@npmjs much, but I don't understand what's the outrage about firing people. Companies can hire and fire as they want/need. The idea they own something to somebody and hence need to keep paying salaries of people they don't need is crazy.
Nobody is outraged about anyone being fired. The outrage is about how they were fired.
