For my personal projects, I am switching to a simpler Cod-I-mean-Code of Conduct, because I felt a bit ridiculous having something more elaborate no there when it's actually just me 99.72% of the time:https://github.com/wincent/wincent/blob/master/.github/CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md …
Why does the language about the scope of the community and author matter?

It seems grossly inaccurate and absurd to talk about the "project maintainers", "project team", "leadership", *of my dotfiles repo*. And not just terminology: take, for example, what the Contributor Covenant says under Enforcement; it is wildly inapplicable:
-
"Project maintainers who do not follow or enforce the Code of Conduct in good faith may face temporary or permanent repercussions as determined by other members of the project’s leadership." — there's no universe in which this sentence usefully applies to this kind of repo.
