      React doesn’t include enough out of the box, and the lack of any official sanctioned recommendations increases ecosystem fragmentation and actively harms the ecosystem.

      Disagree. The bustling innovation in the ecosystem is part of what makes React so successful, and that would not have been possible with an official way to do everything. Plus the obvious bandwidth argument.

      There are also parts of the ecosystem that are just bad because people aren't clustering around a single solution and improving it. Aggregation generally makes something better than any of the separate solutions.

      I just see a scenario where we would have been stuck with React Router 3, CSS transition group and Flummox because they’re the official libs… Breaking changes (paradigm shifts) become lots harder. Are you thinking of any part in particular that’s missing though?

      Has that happened with other frameworks? I legitimately don't know. (The stagnation of blessed or core-maintained libraries)
