I think it is. But I would be happy if FB(and others) helped grow OSS to the point where BigCo is not more of a selling point than ReallyDedicatedSoloDev.
It’s really cool to see projects like @vuejs become popular. While it started at Google(IIRC), I don’t think the fact that it was (ultimately) managed outside of Google was a major hinderance. That’s progress.
