Yeah... Just trying to find sense in the madness. It’s an additional point of verification I guess. When you’re dealing with potential state actors and spies, it makes it harder to fabricate a person.

I forget how big Facebook is. Dealing with state sponsored spies wouldn’t even cross my mind. The US government never asked for more than my passport to verify I’m real … but I guess US population is a third of Facebook’s population so a much less worthy target
