      Also I've owned a house since the first one I bought in Idaho 13 years ago for $145,000, made money on each of the 4 after, so my house situation is independent of my current job :)

          This was also the advice from all the adults growing up in Australia but now the real estate market is in the shitter right now, so your mileage may vary!
