I say this after having a major maintenance done a week ago, and now being back at the mechanic after the engine started misfiring from a bad part that should have been checked before. Love having my time (and money) wasted

Same. It started with me wondering why an oil change cost $100 when oil/filter cost $40 alone. Thankfully Youtube helps here

I feel you. I just signed the paperwork to get the work done to repair my car. Only after did I actually Google what they were doing and realised they were charging me $750 to replace the ignition coils, which is at max a $150 part and takes only a few minutes to replace.

Before I learned how to program I thought the same thing about programmers. “$100 just to give me 5 lines of code for my Wordpress site!?!?! BS!” So maybe ur right but it seems like people generally love to blame any career they don’t understand

Yo! This is so true! I brought my car in coz the steering wheel shakes when i brake. They were gonna charge me almost $300! Good thing my dad helped me out and the fix cost us $20
