I kinda roll my eyes whenever I see "senior developer" in someone's bio. This isn't your resume. The title is so arbitrary and it feels like an unnecessary brag.

Dan has never claimed to be a "thought leader".
While it might not be self-identified with 170,000 followers and significant influence it’s obviously the case.

There's a difference between claiming to be a thought leader and then just being one because you are awesome, like Dan.

I wasn’t trying to make the case that Dan claimed to be one. I think I agree with the original sentiment though. When you’re a thoughtleader and claim you’re a “junior dev for life” it feels like you’re trying to be humble which is clearly an oxymoron.
