I kinda roll my eyes whenever I see "senior developer" in someone's bio. This isn't your resume. The title is so arbitrary and it feels like an unnecessary brag.

Why do you assume I’m senior? I’m one level above entry at Facebook. Open source impact does not necessarily translate to career success.
Any FB employee can search the internal compensation group for proof of my level and salary

Are exactly salaries transparent at Facebook, or do they have massive salary ranges based on level? (Not undermining your tweet—just wondering.)

Levels and salary are hidden. There’s internal groups though where personal compensation information is posted. There are salary bands for each level, so not everyone on the same level gets paid the same but the ranges are fixed meaning they’re well-known.
