I kinda roll my eyes whenever I see "senior developer" in someone's bio. This isn't your resume. The title is so arbitrary and it feels like an unnecessary brag.

Ive gotten more serious job prospects over twitter than I ever got over linkedin, so I disagree that nobody cares. And although many people tend to call themselves senior way too soon, that doesnt mean its *always* bragging.

Being a senior software engineer doesnt mean youre 'better' than junior developers. It simply means you have enough experience to take responsibility for the result of your work, and mentoring junior developers.
