Also the degree requirement is 4 years (at least for a H1B). 1 year of a degree is equivalent to 3 years of work experience. So 12 years of work experience, not super tenable for most people, and impossible for anyone under 30.

I agree O1 is pretty hard and takes a lot of funds and frustration and time. But it was the only visa available to me where I could clearly figure out what inputs I need to get an outcome. No lotteries or depending on others’ good will

I'm in tech, don't have a CS degree, and am not from a European country. O1 is still a few years of seniority away.
