In the case, the vague categories that I satisfied were: 1. Original contributions of major significance to a field 2. Evidence I performed a critical role for organizations and establishments that have a distinguished reputation
3. Evidence that material about me and my accomplishments has been written in professional publications and major media outlets 4. That I receive significantly high remuneration for my services in comparison to others in the field

All of those were supported with references to media publications, my compensation information, statistics, and quotes from experts that vouched for me.

I wrote a recommendation for a friend to get that visa one time. It was the most enjoyable thing I’ve written. Basically: “I AM NOT EXAGGERATING WHEN I SAY THAT [FRIEND] IS THE MOST BRILLIANT PERSON ALIVE AND AMERICA WILL BE 10% BETTER JUST BY THEIR PRESENCE”
