You can show experience. E.g. for a 5 year college degree you can provide the evidence of 10 years of relevant work experience
It's actually 3 years work experience to 1 year of education, and for visas like the H1B they require a degree with a minimum of 4 years. Which means it's actually 12 years required work experience which rules out anyone under 30.
