This feels like an unnecessary abstraction that would usually just be: const ONE_MINUTE = 1000 * 60; const ONE_HOUR = ONE_MINUTE * 60; const ONE_DAY = ONE_HOUR * 24; No build-step or DSL required. Make it a module if you want that’s just full of constants.

Require hell? It's the same amount of requires, and is arguably more clear and doesn't require memorizing some string format: const {ONE_DAY} = require('time-constants'); const FIVE_DAYS = ONE_DAY * 5;
