I blocked someone and Twitter still allows them to engage with my threads. Twitter needs better moderation tools.

Facebook functions in a similar way, except you can still see that person on your friend's threads. How hard is it to make a "hide all on both sides" kinda deal when blocking someone?
I was the root tweet so it's slightly more analogous to someone commenting on your FB status that you've blocked. I understand what you mean though, all social media platforms should have better moderation tools.

Most certainly. My example stemmed from a close friend who had an abusive spouse with whome she now has a restraining order on. She can still see his interactions through friends' posts, and Facebook support basically said "we can't hide his stuff, sorry".
