What are your biggest sources of motivation? Are they internal or external? Do you think you could change them if you wanted to?

React Native, Animated, Prettier are all examples of things were people kept telling me that they were bad ideas. So it motivated me to prove them wrong ;)
For me it increases motivation but only if I’m already motivated in the first place
