Yeah we didn’t bother looking into that. In our case most infinite loops are whiles with bad conditions. We have quite a few whiles.
Shouldn’t really be your problem anyway. Should be implemented in the test framework itself. I’m looking into this for -REDACTED-.

It may be terrible performance initially, but as a POC what if you applied the same approach at a block level for all blocks (not just while loops) and see how close that gets you?

What’s terrible for performance? I’m not talking about any code transformation, just using the V8 debugging protocol.
