      It bothers me that @justinfagnani liked this, when his entire base of work was built on what Andrea did. No value? It is late so I will make no further comment, but lit-html is a literal rip-off of Andrea's work.

      No, actually I remember Andrea gave you a very thorough explanation of how literal templates are only parsed once, therefore only the variables need to be tracked. We can go back a year if you like.
