I’ve been reading the Babel parser source code and seeing so much code and conditions for early stage <1 makes me sad. So much technical debt and syntax churn.

I can't tell if this is a state we must accept or not. Do you think the Babel parser on master ought not to support Stage <1 features? Or maybe there's a better technical solution than conditionals.
