Any recommendations for growing my SQL skills? Sure I know basic select and inner join stuff but it is clear that my weakness in this area is preventing me from being able to analyze large volumes of data in a meaningful way.
Writing a SQL ORM is a pretty great way to learn all the syntax without having an actual real world use-case

I was going to suggest NOT using an ORM
Seriously though, increase your SQL skills by writing an ORM, so you don't have to write SQL anymore. huh?
