I don't think they gave your number out. It's probably your number masked by twilio. Amazon would never give out their customer direct info

That is absolutely not true. Whenever you make any purchase on Amazon, the seller gets your full name, email and phone number.

I was reading an article the other day that suggested that Amazon doesn’t give out this information and the only means of contact is supposed to be via a system in the Amazon website to email you. But employees sell this information against policy (they get fired if caught)

I think you’re mixing up what you’ve heard. Sellers get access to all buyers full name, address, email and phone number, even if the order is fulfilled by Amazon.
