Just get used to metric, it's worth it long term
Setting my temperature in this app to celsius also sets the distance measurement to kilometres... Please allow more granularity with units when you build apps.

I’m Australian, I am very used to metric... I drive in the US and all distance measurements are in miles so I prefer it to kilometres.

This kind of setting should be based on a locale instead of a unit just like languages

No it shouldn’t. I have my locale set to en-US but I want metric measurements, celsius, but miles used for speed and distance.
