PSA: If you have a lot of Chromecast or Google Home devices then disable “Guest Mode”. It broadcasts a hidden SSID that can cause Wifi interference.

Is this a problem on 5 Ghz? Friends don't let friends use 2.4 GHz except for their sous vide machine.
We have a couple of devices that are 2.4 GHz too, all Internet of Shit stuff. My super basic tests show that it helps so far though. UniFI SDN was showing pretty high levels of interference on both frequencies. Our devices are pretty dense, a Google Home Mini in almost every room

We have ~8 Google Homes and 2 chromecasts. I feel ya. But I never had guest mode on. I got a 2.4 GHz network for the legacy shit but on a separate SSID so nobody uses it by accident.
