PSA: If you have a lot of Chromecast or Google Home devices then disable “Guest Mode”. It broadcasts a hidden SSID that can cause Wifi interference.

It wouldn’t surprise me. I’ve noticed a lot of consumer grade routers have an automatic guest mode.
