pro tip for tech critique - suggest a better alternative while complaining. Either you’ll learn why things were designed the way they are, or you’ll actually contribute something useful back and affect change to the tech.

I agree with this on the surface, but depending on what it is you're critiquing, suggesting an alternative can sometimes also be competitve which can trigger a defensive response (you know what I'm referring to lol)

I told the cafe staff at Urban that they should swap out the grilled chicken for some other kind of poultry. I suggested turkey and they yelled at me so now I don't like to go to Zone 9 anymore.
