      Regarding Flowtype: I'm curious if there is going to be any change/improvement in terms of communication with the community or the FUD and migration to TypeScript will continue. Can anybody related comment on this? cc: @__avik @nontrivialzeros @tomocchino

      No, it’s dead like DraftJS. @fbOpenSource should have a policy to say “sorry guys, we can’t do it” It’s perfectly understable, they do not owe nothing to anyone. Except, many people can be misleaded.

      It’s not about Flow only. Atom, especially when Microsoft bought Github, is dead horse too. I switched two weaks ago, and honestly, it much better. Nuclide is dead horse too, dangerou to update because it’s often broken.

      Yep, we also use VSCode and it’s much better in terms of speed. I’m mainly concerned about Flow as we have been using it for over two years and have it in thousands of files. I’d just like to know what’s the overall status of the project. Today’s activities are new releases only.

      Flow is very much alive, but we've done a shitty job communicating what we've been working on. Our focus has been on solving performance and reliability challenges on FB repos. We plan to improve our public communication in 2019 by laying out roadmaps and reporting progress.

      Any idea about when flow will start using Semver correctly so a breaking change doesn't mess up everyone's builds? Reference 0.83 upgrade to 0.85 which broke things.

      It does follow semver correctly...? Any version less than <1.0.0 indicates a breaking change, they're following it exactly. https://semver.org/#spec-item-4

          The spec says "V 1.0.0 defines the public API. The way in which the version is incremented after this release is dependent on this public API and how it changes." It's agreed that if it's Beta software then pre-1.0.0 is allowed w/ breaks, otherwise breaks increment major version.
