After spending hours trying to get certbot and Let's Encrypt to work, and messing with Python dependency hell, I'm ready to just call it a day and buy a cheap SSL cert.

Oh gochu! I was just curious, wasn’t trying to be rude. As for the security perspective, I was referring to the fact that you’re leaving your personal network wide open for a DOS attack. They could shut down your internet for a bit (annoying) or cause an ISP ban (very annoying)

This has happened to me personally btw. Caused a lot of backlash from the others on my network when the whole thing came crashing down.
