We’re moving from the peninsula to the east bay. We’re going from a 1 bedroom apartment to a 3 bedroom house with a backyard, and we’re paying less. Housing in the Bay Area is wild.

Moving specifically to Fremont. It’s only a 15ish minute drive with no traffic. Facebook is at one end of the Dumbarton Bridge and our new place is on the other. So I’ll have it super easy.

Hope that holds up. Bridge traffic seems rough.

Yeah, I’ll likely have to mould my schedule around it. I drive to the office so don’t have the constraints of shuttle times. Having a lot more space should be worth it though. Backyard for the doggo, dedicated room for desk etc.

Does your back yard have a shed of any sort? If so, maybe I could pay to record some vocals there

Sweet! I'll be right over.

You think I'm joking
but I'm getting desperate. I just ordered a desktop mic stand to try and rig a mobile recording setup in my CAR for vocals

Brian, you can lookup studios around you. You may be surprised how affordable they can be to rent for a few hours and record in a nicely treated room with great gear: mics and preamps, compressors, etc and a competent engineer
