So far Las Vegas is pretty terrible and disgusting. Are there some redeeming factors I’m missing? Good areas?

Or the Grand Canyon. It lives up to its name.
We just roadtripped from SF to LA to here so 4 more hours of driving is probably off the schedule

Hoover Dam is a nice sight and it’s not too far. Grand Canyon is very impressive but it’s further.
