So far Las Vegas is pretty terrible and disgusting. Are there some redeeming factors I’m missing? Good areas?

My dumb ass thought LV would be a good family vacation destination, with 4 minors and only 3 adults.

If it's not too late, drive up to Zion National Park, do the Angel's Landing hike. Might not want to take the kids up the last part. Or go literally anywhere in the park, it's all amazing.

cirque du soleil if the kids are old enough. Fountains at Bellagio. Ferris wheel ride. Gravity ride at Stratosphere. Atomic museum. Neon boneyard. Helicopter to the grand canyon. Drive out to Red Rocks or Valley of Fire for the day. Decamp to Zion National Park.

shark thing at Mandalay Bay. Aquarium in Caesars palace shops. Gondolas on grand canal at the Venetian.

Definitely not a great idea (sorry). Old Las Vegas is kind of cool and kitchy, and Container Park is nice and child friendly. I heard good things about neon light museum if you get the tickets ahead of time. Otherwise rent a car and do Hoover Dam and parks
