Are there any JS bundlers that warn on cycles detected? Seems like a pretty simple heuristic to detect imports used on the JS init path that are only loaded after the current file.

@RollupJS does a great job at this.
Just tried it and it just warns on cycles. Should have been more specific but most cycles are safe, it's only when you use the cycle bindings on init, which I'm saying you can pretty easily detect.

we used to do that. I think it got lost in a refactor and was never reinstated
