Scaring users away from using Edge because of a serious security vulnerability seems pretty logical to me? What about it is wrong?
All browsers have security issues from time to time. My problem is I was given no evidence that Edge were particularly interested in fixing this one.
Even if they were responsive I don't see any problem with recommending people not use Edge while the vulnerability is unpatched.
