One motivating factor also is that Windows Home Edition doesn't include Bitlocker, so no full disk encryption. Pretty sad that Microsoft put important security features in an upsell. Yawn.

Considering removing Windows from my dual-boot system. Finding all the games I want to play are available on Linux with Steam. 2018 is truly the year of Linux on Sebastian's Laptop.

Could you name a few of those games?

Cities Skyline, Counterstrike, Rust etc. Basically most games based on Valve's Source Engine or Unity are available. Not sure if Unreal support Linux but haven't really seen any of those games available :(

And I am thinking of migrating to Windows. Linux is great when it works. When it doesn't, it is a burden in the best case.

You can say the same thing about Windows though. Only thing that routinely goes wrong for me is driver issues, which is fairly significant but for me the trade-offs are worth the additional hassle.
