Removing other folks from this thread to be kind to them. I've been nice, and polite. You chose to dogmatically focus on a previously-poor-but-fixed-implementation of a common best-practice that's a huge ergonomic and performance win, then run screaming when called on it.
Saying "next" is extremely condescending. You've been assuming bad faith from the start. Would hardly call that nice and polite.

"next" was a poor word choice, I was asking for him to get to more serious questions. Tossing out ideas over a minor implementation detail indeed leads to an assumption of bad faith.
