      Going to dual boot Windows 10 for gaming and Ubuntu for programming. Feel super nostalgic, haven’t done this stuff since I got my first MacBook.

      Just don't hook up a second screen with a different pixel pitch because NVIDIA's drivers still don't support Wayland. Oh, Linux.

          Isn't that because they have the same DPI? Issues start when e.g. laptop screen has 200% scaling while external has 100%. Like hooking up a 4K laptop to a 24" Full HD screen. Works for me with Wayland, but my XPS 13 has Intel graphics.
