Picked up a Razer Blade Pro today. 17" 4K touchscreen, 32GB RAM, Nvidia GTX 1080, dual NVMe SSDs. Goodbye Macbook, you cannot compete.

Got Ubuntu up and running with no issues. Came with all the correct drivers out of the box!

Been really considering this lately too. My personal laptop is old and I can’t imagine buying a mbp with how bad my work one is... plus I like games

A 15” Razer Blade is probably a lot more practical. This thing is massive and pretty heavy. Mostly using it as a laptop that’s on a desk so not a big deal.

I was going to pick up the Stealth on
@razer's $1050 deal but they were quickly out of stock. Do you actually use the touchscreen? That's the one "upgrade" I just don't see the value in. -
Only got it today so no idea how much I'll use the touchscreen. The touchscreen/4K model is the only Blade Pro that comes with 32GB RAM which is the spec I really wanted.

How is the trackpad?

I like it so far. Reminds me a lot of the MacBook trackpad. Feels pretty elasticy though. Might be some setting I can change though.
