I don't get why @PrettierCode is still controversial in some places. I've worked at a wide variety of places before FB, and within FB, and it would be hugely beneficial at all and with little downside. If you don't, why not?

1. It doesn't work well in organisations that create and use APIs which use a lot of method chaining since sometimes everything can end up on one line. 2. Deep nested hierarchies can make things which shouldn't really fall onto a new line do so. Long variable names, etc.

For 1), prettier now always break when there are 3 or more expressions, so it shouldn’t be an issue anymore hopefully

Ah, I wondered if that had changed - glad it has. Though I see for FP, people are still making the same kinds of complaints...
