There is a really big difference between hiring someone who fucked up once and learned from it vs. someone who loudly denies they fucked up.

He had filed an NLRB complaint about misrepresentation and shaming. If Google is seen as retaliating then it will be bad for them.

As to whether he should keep quiet: many agree about there being an echo chamber which misrepresents and shames to control.
