I thought it'd be fun to write a debugger but was having a lot of difficulty understanding how to do so by reading VSCode's source.

To begin with I will just explore seeing if I can run a script while emitting a particular value I'm watching - that is as simple as I can imagine. After that I want to see if I can take the execution of a function and generate some kind of graph from this.

(I think what I'd like to do eventually is to create pictures that I think describe particular algorithms well, and then see if I can generalise some debugging approach which outputs these.)
