Day 7, feeling like my normal self. Starting to get bored and antsy at not being able to go outside. Feel much clearer, like my brain just got another CPU attached. Now can understand properly what's going on, catching up with the weeks news in horror...

Day 10, feeling almost normal. The last 3 days were the most “scary” because I was more aware of what was happening, and the risk of it getting worse hasn’t fully subsided. Luckily it didn’t. Haven’t really been ill like that before, so new appreciation for youth, energy etc

Day 13, it feels like every day is about half as bad as the previous, in any case not linear so recovering slower than I expected. Still to tired to do meaningful writing or coding, or even half-decent video calls. I got off lightly but this still sucks.

Day 20, still not over! Jesus. I can do intellectual work like writing again, but it's hard to stay upright for a half hour video call. Any suggestions on how to speed this up, other than lying down and drinking water, much appreciated...

Day 36 and still on-going bouts of fever and lightheadedness. Have had a telemedicine appointment to check this is not a secondary infection (most likely not, I'm told). Steadily improving every day, and never had other physical problems like e.g. breathing difficulties.

Day 44: finally can say I've "recovered"! Oh my god. I started taking iron and tumeric a few days ago, but so glad this whole thing is over. I am still really tired, but feel mentally and physically "normal", fit enough to walk up hills etc. Am left thinking "WTF just happened".

Very glad to hear this. It sounds so protracted. I despair when I am sick for over a week! I'm interested in what your views are on government's lifting lockdowns? I think even when lockdowns are lifted, I won't want to interact with anybody. Maybe that's not sane though.
