If true that Boris refused 50,000 ventilators, and went for ‘herd immunity’ as an option, he should have the good grace to resign. I’d prefer @piersmorgan to be PM. Never thought I’d say that. #BorisOut

Who was giving away 50,000 ventilators when just about every country in the world was in bidding wars to access the world's finite supply of them? Much more likely that whichever company was offering was trying to get the highest price by offering to as many people as possible.

There was a british firm who reportedly asked the government did they want ventilator's and were told to push off.
