Hypothesis: TypeScript programmers are at scale more productive than JavaScript, just based on the amount of silly mistakes that TypeScript catches, such as forgotten imports that would appear as "foo is not defined" in the browser console. Sum up the time for all these mistakes.

This and also there are refactors which would take me days to do in JavaScript due to tiny errors that I'd only see at runtime. And with TypeScript it takes a few hours and after the type errors are fixed runs perfectly.
