Have you or anyone you know been a part of a team that converted from JS to TypeScript and then decided to revert back? If so, why?
I’m curious to know what can go wrong, and what pitfalls there are to avoid.

We never left but in a huge project with thousands of files one major difficulty is upgrading to a new version of a library like React if there are multiple component libraries that use its types and expect different versions. You sometimes have to do multiple upgrades at once.

Similar problem can happen with TypeScript version upgrades causing breakages in libraries. Frustrating experience. Obviously one can learn to codemod and `patch-package` out of problems. But the interlockingness and globalness of types can hurt.
