If they're in Hackney, acceptable as housing, and have a price that approximates the cost of building from scratch why not make an offer to buy some of them?

Obviously, I realise this could be expensive, but it's *already really expensive* to find and buy land, get an architect to draw up plans, go through the planning process, pay for builders to build the housing, and then finally furnish the housing, etc.
