Pet hate: opening a new code base and all of the files/functions are named things like `start` (start what?) and contain only a few lines of code (and mostly function calls or method calls on unknown instances). Really hard to get context and understanding.

Going back to an earlier point in a codebase to find a less abstract, simpler version of the code to read, is a great idea. I also wonder whether a tool just to read new codebases could be made. Roll all of the code into a single file with a great navigation UI and markdown.
