Categories are often assigned incorrectly and I can't correct this when a transaction is pending.

I am a freelancer so would like to commit money to upcoming taxes, and see this removed from "Cash".

It's not clear when I should use the "Exclude" category. I use it always when I move money internally, but if I move money from savings to personal sometimes it feels weird for this to not be 'positive' because afterwards I am able to spend as if I received income.

The report at the end of the week is useless to me. My income and spending is so spikey, the report is often completely nuts. Like congratulating me on receiving £16. The report could have more specific information and also relate to how my finances change month by month.

The default categories could be reworked. Right now they feel like levers that don't quite match how I think about my finances. For example, is going to the pub "entertainment" in the same way as going to the cinema is? Or is it "eating out"?

Is buying lunch for work every day from Itsu/Pret/Leon (etc), the same as eating out at a Gastropub during the weekend or going to a restaurant with a Michelin star? Right now the categories force me to place these things together.

Similarly, "Shopping" contains the time I bought a few books from WH Smith, alongside the time I spent £800+ on expensive clothes.

I love your app, but I sometimes wish you could take a step back and think of questions people might ask about their finances?

e.g. If I stopped drinking coffee how much money would I save? How much do I spend on lunch for work? Do I spend more than my peers on X? Would I save more money by eating out 50% less or by not shopping at luxury brands? I'm not your average customer but you could ask others.

It would be cool to know stuff like: What's my average spend on a weekday vs weekend? What's my spend on basics vs luxuries? How much money do I spend on clothing per month/year? Are my utility bills high? Am I using public transport enough for an annual/monthly pass?

Weird idea but I'd sort of like to be able to mark transactions as "essential" or "inessential". It would be really cool to know what my lowest burn rate is.
