Problem is: what is meaningful? I guess it depends. Is filtering out a type of component completely definitely the right thing to do? Maybe the kind of UX pictured in this tweet needs to be available within the component structure?pic.twitter.com/lRDyDoiEX7

I don't think that kind of UX works as well for a tree as for a flat list like a GitHub page.

Hm. I guess the tree equivalent is like 'code folding' however a tree already sort of has that. Question is: if the component you're looking for is filtered out, can you still search for it? How quickly can you access it? Do you need to open the settings for it to appear again?
