If possible, would suggest you try to connect with an attorney w/ OSS licensing experience. There's a lot of nuance and potential stumbling blocks wrt things like: commits w/o CLA, OSI concerns, etc.

Thanks for this. A custom license containing the political whims of a single person would have been difficult to get through license compliance at large corporations.

Maybe such licenses should exist but I think it would need more work. Companies aren't going to wish to be controlled by the software they use and need to be able to trust that a license won't suddenly be a tool to enforce any number of moralities upon them.
